Girl Scout Parties
GENERAL INFO
Our painting parties are a fun, affordable way to gather with your Troop and earn a badge. Painters will leave the party with a 12"x 12" keepsake that they have created. Our facilitator will teach the kids to stain their wood and then paint their design. We will have 6 stain colors available and 12 paint colors for them to use.
FACILITY/PRIVATE AREA
You will have your own private area, which means no cleaning up for you. YEAH! We will set-up one or two 8' tables with chairs around them for the painters. Also, a stack of chairs will be available for guests to use as space allows.
ORDERING
Troops will be given 2 options for ordering:
- Troop leaders can choose 1 design for the entire troop.
- Each girl in the troop can choose their own design from our 17 options. Within 3 days of scheduling, troop leaders will be sent a Google Doc which they can share with their troop. The Google Doc will have designs options on it and anyone in the troop can simple type in their name and order. A due date for orders will be on the sheet, at that date/time the sheet will close and no one will be able to edit. The workshop will use the sheet to prepare your stencils for the party.
SET-UP
- We leave a 30 minute buffer between parties to allow for set-up and clean-up.
- If you are providing, you can arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of time to set-up. Our facilitator will help you.
AGENDA
- Food, drink, snacks (Optional)
- Painting- For painting, kids can wear our aprons. We don't recommend wearing your Sundays best.
- Photos- We will take pictures at the end.
- Clean-Up- We will have another party coming in 15 minutes after your party.
SPECIAL NOTES
- For Girl Scout parties, we do not create Facebook events or invitations.
BADGES
Our Creative Gatherings' badges come with the purchase our your Girl Scout sign.
SIGN OPTIONS
Signs at Girl Scout parties are 12"x 12". These options will be available at the party include:
- 6 stain colors
- 12 basic paint colors
- 32 design options

Payment- We prefer a lump sum payment for the Troop. At the workshop, your troop can pay via cash or credit card. If need to pay via check, we will need you to drop check off at Workshop a week before party to give it time to clear.

All inquires about painting at the workshop can be completed using this form. The Creative Gatherings' Workshop is located at 8822 West Washington Street. Our party scheduler uses this information to find the best time and date for you. We are able to host multiple parties at once and so accurately filling out this information will help us plan accordingly to ensure you have a wonderful time at Creative Gatherings.
